As a Territory Sales Manager at Virbac, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and managing relationships within the Charlotte and Asheville, NC territories. This position requires a highly self-motivated and results-oriented individual who can execute SMART objectives effectively. You will be responsible for driving strong sales activity throughout the territory by utilizing available resources and developing specific account plans. Maintaining momentum in the face of temporary setbacks and incorporating feedback from leadership to improve results will be key to your success in this role. In addition to sales activities, you will be tasked with territory management, which includes developing and executing territory business reviews to achieve goals by improving access and sales. You will promote a highly technical and innovative product portfolio to a sophisticated audience, constantly prospecting to deepen relationships and grow sales. Your ability to report goals, sales activities, market information, and customer data in a timely manner will be critical, as will your capacity to meet field activity expectations consistently. You will also be expected to execute commercial insights to teach, tailor, and take control of sales conversations, ensuring that you close sales effectively. Strong communication skills will be necessary to articulate technical knowledge of the Virbac portfolio and competition, persuading commitment to Virbac products. You will conduct educational presentations to gain commitment to use and sell Virbac products, ensuring timely and accurate two-way communication between cross-functional partners. Resource management is another key area of accountability, where you will record sales activity and customer data in the CRM database accurately and in a timely manner. Utilizing SalesForce to plan, segment, and prioritize will be essential, as will your ability to analyze sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines. You will also host and attend various events, including local VMAs, KOL dinners, and conferences, to build stronger customer relationships and increase sales.
