About the position

Core Group Resources is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Chemical Salesperson to join our team as a Territory Sales Manager for the Chemical & Petrochemical sector. This position is crucial for promoting and selling our chemical products to potential customers while building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in the Northeast region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships within the chemical industry. In this role, you will develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective prospecting, networking, and relationship building. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as you will need to address client inquiries and concerns by collaborating to understand their requirements and offering customized solutions. You will also be responsible for conducting product demonstrations and presentations, which will require effective communication and a strong knowledge of product specifications and applications. Staying updated on the features and applications of our valves available for chemical products will be key to your success in this position. Additionally, you will work closely with the marketing and product development teams to enhance product offerings and promotions. Collaboration with internal teams is vital to ensure customer satisfaction and to address any concerns that may arise during the sales process. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Chemical Engineering, Business or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in chemical valve sales or a related field highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of chemical products and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel for short overnight stays within the geographical territory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM software preferred.
