About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Hoya Vision Care is responsible for driving sales performance and fostering customer relationships within the Colorado territory. This role involves developing trusted advisor relationships with eye care professionals (ECPs), utilizing corporate tools to meet sales objectives, and collaborating with lab partners to achieve sales targets. The position requires effective territory planning, account management, and consultative selling to establish long-term business partnerships while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with ECPs to grow branded product sales and overall business.
  • Utilizing corporate tools to document, plan, monitor, and meet sales objectives within the territory.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with lab partners to ensure successful customer relations and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Achieving established sales goals consistently.
  • Communicating with the Regional Sales Manager regarding personal growth, sales results, and action plans.
  • Monitoring changes in the market and customer base to determine account volume and needs.
  • Partnering with lab personnel to identify account opportunities and adjust business plans accordingly.
  • Training Customer Service Personnel and lab representatives on Hoya Vision Care's products and promotions.
  • Monitoring competitor activities and implementing competitive sales strategies.
  • Managing the territory sales budget with emphasis on sales volume and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales results and customer service experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Cognos, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce.com.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
