About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and business development within the assigned territory, focusing on building relationships with orthodontists and their teams. This role involves creating business plans, developing tactics to achieve sales goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support. The Territory Sales Manager will also analyze territory performance and manage customer expectations to foster long-term partnerships and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and acquisition activities to drive sales within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with orthodontists and their clinical teams.
  • Develop business plans and territory-specific tactics to achieve sales goals.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Conduct regular meetings with orthodontists to promote products and gather feedback.
  • Analyze territory performance and manage customer expectations.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reporting documents.
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide intelligence on competitive products.
  • Continuously improve personal knowledge and sales skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience in customer relationship and account management.
  • Ability to travel with 30% overnight.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
