About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Dental at Leixir Dental Group is a pivotal role responsible for managing a portfolio of up to 500 client accounts within the South Florida territory. This position requires a proactive approach to client engagement, focusing on both existing and prospective clients. The primary objectives include executing new product launches, prospecting for new clients, and stimulating sales growth with current clients. The role involves significant travel, with expectations of 50-70% travel time, to conduct personal meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients. In this role, you will be tasked with organizing a calendar of events and maintaining an updated Outlook schedule for all client interactions. You will also be responsible for assigning team members to represent the lab at various shows and meetings. Daily inquiries from the field will need to be addressed promptly, and you will be expected to stay current with the My Lab Connect (MLC) platform, providing one-on-one training as necessary. Additionally, you will review sales reports for discrepancies, assist with report scheduling from LabTrac, and verify commission calculations for new customer incentives and surgical referrals. The ideal candidate will possess a dental background, preferably as a dental assistant or technician, and have experience in direct selling or tele-sales. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain long-lasting client relationships are essential. You should be able to identify client needs and propose effective solutions while demonstrating a solid understanding of the dental industry and current market trends. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly. Candidates should exhibit enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a can-do spirit, along with the ability to take initiative and work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing circumstances. The position is based out of the South Florida market and is not remote, requiring a commitment to being on the road to meet clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage up to 500 client accounts in a specific geographical territory.
  • Contact all clients within the assigned territory to achieve objectives regarding new product launches and sales stimulation.
  • Travel and conduct personal meetings with current and prospective clients.
  • Organize calendar of events and maintain updated Outlook for all client interactions.
  • Assign team members to represent the lab at shows and meetings by territory.
  • Assist in daily inquiries that arise while in the field.
  • Keep up to date on My Lab Connect (MLC) and provide one-on-one training.
  • Set reminders for events, follow-ups, meetings, deadlines, and reports due.
  • Review sales reports for minor discrepancies before approvals are issued.
  • Assist with report scheduling from LabTrac and data extraction from LabTrac.
  • Verify commission calculations for New Customer Spiff and Surgical Referrals.

Requirements

  • Dental background highly preferred, either as a dental assistant or technician.
  • Experience in direct selling and tele-sales preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel 50-70% of the time.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients.
