About the position

The Territory Sales Manager will represent Oldcastle APG's MoistureShield Decking brand in the Iowa, Nebraska, and Southeast South Dakota territories. This role focuses on increasing sales through retail lumber yards and enhancing customer relationships while coordinating sales functions and training store personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Improve and lead the assigned territory to increase sales at retail lumber yards.
  • Assist with product knowledge and special orders of MoistureShield throughout the territory.
  • Lead and coordinate sales functions.
  • Conduct training on products for store personnel.
  • Represent MoistureShield at trade home shows to promote the product.
  • Investigate and resolve customer claims to reinforce relationships between customers and local stores.
  • Coordinate liaison between the sales department and other sales-related units.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas for client base expansion.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Responsible for pull-through sales to builders, architects, and homeowners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience in Sales.
  • Experience in the building material space is a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
