About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for East Texas and Louisiana at TIME Manufacturing Company is responsible for managing and expanding a dedicated sales territory, focusing on building strong relationships with utility and municipal fleet departments. This role involves consultative sales expertise, effective communication of technical product details, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in outside sales, particularly in B2B environments.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and grow a dedicated sales territory in East Texas and Louisiana, including a pre-existing customer base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with fleet departments, including utility and municipal fleets, and national accounts.
  • Provide consultative sales expertise to customers, focusing on understanding and exceeding their expectations.
  • Effectively communicate technical details of truck-mounted equipment, ensuring customers understand product features and benefits.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, customer service, and technical support, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend and participate in trade shows and industry events to represent TIME Manufacturing Company and generate leads.
  • Use CRM tools to track sales activity, manage customer interactions, and report on sales performance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of consultative outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in B2B sales, particularly with fleet departments (experience with utility and/or municipal fleets is a plus).
  • Strong focus on exceeding customer expectations and delivering exceptional service.
  • Technical knowledge of truck-mounted equipment is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel within the territory as needed, including overnight travel.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with remote team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical knowledge of truck-mounted equipment is a plus.
