About the position

We are seeking a well-seasoned Territory Sales Manager who resides preferably in Brevard County of the State of Florida to join our Team. Filta is the World Leader in cooking oil and fryer management operating in 15 countries around the world; we provide a proprietary mobile micro-filtration service for cooking oil, including a vacuum-based deep cleaning of fryers for kitchens around the world. The Sales Manager will develop sales plans in coordination with the owner and execute these plans, identify target customers, generate leads, and close deals in a domain related to commercial kitchens such as restaurants, hospitals, corporate dining, universities, stadiums, and the like. The pay structure will consist of a base salary plus commissions and car gas allowance. Starting base annual salary of $45,000 plus 30% commission of first 3 months of earned sales revenues and end of year bonus based on achieving set KPI's and fiscal year revenue target. The Sales Manager position is the face of the business with our current and future customers' base. The candidate is expected to be extremely professional and possess the people, listening, communication, and customer service skills, which are key ingredients of the role. Sales experience in the hospitality, restaurants, and/or catering industry is a plus. Preferably, an industry closely related to the sale and/or distribution of cooking oil will be a great advantage. Or a chef who is looking at exiting the monotony of his/her daily role. Competence in time management and the ability to set priorities and drive sales initiatives with minimum supervision is essential. The candidate will provide weekly updates and progress reviews on sales targets, plan vs. actual, tracking sales and analyzing sales performance and results. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing sales strategies, self-identifying sales shortfalls, and developing gap closure plans. Compliance with franchise standards/policies is crucial, as is the ability to handle and resolve customer complaints or service issues. The Sales Manager will conduct sales leads sites' evaluations and prepare price proposals in collaboration and coordination with the owner of the business.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of good driving history is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or related fields is a plus.
  • Strong, credible, and likeable sales personality.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively.
  • Competence in time management and ability to set priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Sales experience in the hospitality, restaurants, and/or catering industry is a plus.
  • Experience in the sale and/or distribution of cooking oil is a great advantage.
