The Territory Sales Manager position is a critical role within a fourth-generation family business that operates five distinct businesses, primarily focusing on meat and seafood distribution. This company serves hotels, restaurants, and other institutions in the greater Reno/Tahoe area and nationally, delivering a premium full line of meat and seafood six days a week to over 200 customers. As a licensed Certified Angus Beef distributor, the company prides itself on quality and customer satisfaction. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the Reno/Tahoe region, leading a team of seven sales representatives, and driving the company's regional sales efforts. This role requires a hands-on approach to sales processes, product knowledge, promotional activities, and training and development of the sales team. The manager will focus on customer engagement, strategic sales growth initiatives, and overseeing sales reporting activities and action plans to drive results. Additionally, the position involves preparing annual regional sales budgets and quarterly forecasts, meeting with key customers, and ensuring effective communication with procurement, production, shipping, and finance departments to meet customer satisfaction goals.
