About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for the South-Western United States will be responsible for building and leading an OEM customer base to achieve the organization's sales growth and profitability objectives. This role is pivotal in leading and coordinating customer-centric activities at key end-user accounts while also prospecting for new opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy self-starter, driven to succeed, and capable of energizing others to achieve team success. Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization are essential, as is the ability to execute across the sales opportunity lifecycle. The successful candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills and a working knowledge of the Pre-Cast, Utility, and OEM market segments, including Pre-Casters, Engineering and EPC firms, contractors, and other market participants. They will have experience working cross-functionally to effectively balance customer and business needs, adopting an outside-in, customer-centric mindset. Overall, the Territory Sales Manager will take ownership of managing the market, ensuring that sales and profit targets are met while fostering strong customer relationships. The role involves generating profitable sales of INWESCO products in the OEM market segment, developing sales and marketing plans and strategies for long-term business growth, and achieving the company's annual sales growth goals. The Territory Sales Manager will also manage key customer relationships, lead the development and closing of all strategic customer opportunities, and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting. This position requires a team player with effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative style, who is results-driven and focused on delivering outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Generate profitable sales of INWESCO products in the OEM market segment.
  • Develop sales and marketing plans and strategies for long-term business growth while achieving the company's annual sales growth goals.
  • Develop and manage a Regional Territory to provide market coverage and generate sales.
  • Lead and execute the sales process from prospecting through proposal, order, and post-order activities to drive desired sales outcomes.
  • Manage key customer relationships and lead the development and closing of all strategic customer opportunities.
  • Understand customer needs and expectations to develop our value proposition.
  • Assimilate and communicate market segment research and competitor analysis.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years professional experience, with 3+ years in sales or sales management role.
  • Experience managing a team preferred.
  • Experience in the Construction Vertical with infrastructure products preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and communications skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and managing multiple projects.
