About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving net hearing instrument sales within the designated territory, which includes Georgia and Florida. This role requires the candidate to build, grow, and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring that customer needs are met while also identifying and addressing service issues. The successful candidate will be expected to meet their sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, and will work closely with inside sales to prospect and recruit new customers. In addition to sales responsibilities, the Territory Sales Manager will prepare an annual territory business plan that aligns with corporate goals and is reviewed quarterly with the regional director. This plan will include strategies for sales growth and effective zoning of the customer base. The role also involves introducing and establishing new products to both existing and new customers, as well as providing training on GN ReSound's hearing devices and software. The position requires excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey GN ReSound's technology story to customers, both individually and in larger group settings. The Territory Sales Manager will utilize various marketing tools and programs to enhance customer loyalty and maintain an accurate customer database. Timely completion of sales and corporate reporting is also a critical aspect of this role, along with maintaining professional standards of behavior while representing the company at various professional meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve net hearing instrument sales quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to grow current customer business.
  • Identify and address customer service issues, including remake and repair issues and turnaround times.
  • Prepare and update an annual territory business plan in collaboration with the regional director and inside sales counterpart.
  • Work effectively with inside sales to prospect, develop, and recruit new customers each month.
  • Introduce and establish new products to existing and new customers.
  • Coordinate training for customers on fitting GN ReSound's hearing devices using software programs.
  • Provide software and hardware support to existing accounts as needed.
  • Develop effective communication and presentation skills to sell GN ReSound's technology to customers.
  • Utilize marketing tools and programs to build customer loyalty to GN ReSound.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the GN ReSound customer database in the region.
  • Complete sales and corporate reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional standards of behavior when communicating with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree required; Business or Marketing emphasis preferred.
  • 3+ years in outside sales selling a tangible product preferred.
  • 3+ years of Business to Business selling experience (non-retail) preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Experience with database management.
