About the position

As a Sales Representative for PUMA, you will be responsible for traveling extensively throughout your designated territory, engaging with various golf accounts in the marketplace. This includes Off Course Retail, Green Grass, Management Groups, and National Accounts. Your primary goal will be to provide the highest level of service and technical expertise from the initial sell-in process to the final sell-through. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with accounts in your territory, as well as with internal stakeholders, to drive business growth effectively. In this role, you will manage all aspects of the business for your wholesale account list. This encompasses the sell-in process, which includes product presentations and training, business planning, order entry, and all operational tasks. You will also be responsible for order book management, shop merchandising, and sell-through planning. Achieving annual sales volume targets for your territory and key accounts is crucial, as is meeting annual channel distribution targets. You will provide the Regional Sales Director with weekly updates on account status and sales tracking to ensure that both pre-book and annual quarterly sales targets are met. Your responsibilities will also include servicing National Account locations such as Golf Galaxy, Dick's Sporting Goods, and PGA Tour Superstores within your designated territory. You will work closely with Key Account Managers to provide store-level feedback, identify product or merchandising needs, and uncover sales opportunities or SKU expansions. Additionally, you will conduct product and brand training throughout the territory to drive sales and organize Demo/Fitting Days, while managing and training Tech Reps to assist in these events. Proactive management of your order book with the designated Sales Support Rep will be essential to review all open orders and ensure timely product shipping.
