About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for driving new customer acquisition for Harbor Wholesale Foods within the assigned region of Hood River/The Dalles. This role focuses on growing and developing new business sales by securing purchases from new customers, with an emphasis on relationship building and exceeding sales objectives. The TSM must be centrally located within the territory and will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop new business sales by securing new customer purchases in the assigned region.
  • Develop strong relationships with key and chain customers.
  • Identify and convert top retailers within the assigned region.
  • Exceed monthly sales objectives.
  • Utilize mobile technology to conduct business while on the road.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of sales experience with a proven and successful track record.
  • Effective negotiation skills and professional communication abilities.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others in a tactful manner.
  • Knowledge and sales experience within the convenience store industry.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
