The Territory Sales Manager II position is crucial for identifying and building new customer relationships to deliver year-on-year revenue and pipeline opportunity growth targets. This Business Development role will focus on the East Coast and Northeast service areas, requiring a proactive approach to generating new business and fostering strong customer connections. In this role, you will generate new business from new customers through a high level of customer contact, including frequent direct visits and extensive networking activities. You will effectively promote current technical capabilities and emerging technologies to facilitate the generation and closing of new business opportunities. This will primarily be achieved through email communications, phone conversations, customer-tailored presentations, and in-person visits. Building trust-based relationships throughout target accounts, from technical personnel to the executive level, is essential. You will work closely with marketing, account managers, and product development to develop strategies that ensure MyoSite's position as the leading solutions provider. Establishing an internal network with Commercial Development and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will be key to your success. You will negotiate contracts with increasing autonomy and identify market trends, assess market potential, and develop strategies to grow market share using data from the customer base and effective communication with internal stakeholders. Providing timely, industry-leading customer support and defining and interfacing with internal resources when necessary will be part of your responsibilities. A strong understanding of the process from pre-clinical to clinical development is required, along with the ability to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization. A high degree of business acumen, including financial, market positioning, healthcare industry, and customer competencies, will enable you to make sound decisions. You will achieve business objectives for your assigned territory, develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management in customer organizations, and assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, as well as developing forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.
