This professional sales position is responsible for driving profitable revenue of fence materials in a specific market area. The role involves utilizing all available Barrette Outdoor Living Fencing brands, products, and strategies to service the existing customer base and grow revenue through both existing partnerships and new account acquisition. The company’s signature brands include Belgard and Echelon hardscape and masonry materials, Barrette Outdoor Living and MoistureShield fencing, decking and railing, and many others that create inviting outdoor spaces where people connect, reflect, and recharge. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales revenue and profitability targets within the assigned territory. This includes working in a consultative manner as a product, industry, and brand expert with prospects and customers to develop the business within each marketplace. The role requires managing a large portfolio of existing accounts while also adding new distribution and contractor business. The position necessitates travel within a multi-state territory to strategically target and acquire new customers, create new distribution markets, develop existing markets, and service the existing customer base. Additionally, the manager will create and/or attend customer events, tradeshows, or other events each year to develop brand and product awareness in the territory. The Territory Sales Manager will also be responsible for maintaining an active sales pipeline of specific sales opportunities/objectives to sell more or new products to the existing customer base and acquire new customers/dealers. Collaboration with the inside sales team on customer order fulfillment and satisfaction, as well as working with product teams on the rollout of new products and solutions for the customer base, is essential. The manager will also work with product/business teams on market pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness in the market and profitability.
