About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the sales and promotion of Burndy products through distribution channels to end-users and specifying influences, aiming to achieve assigned sales quotas within the Southern Ohio and Kentucky markets. This role involves managing the territory effectively, conducting sales calls, training distributor personnel, and maintaining accurate account records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory to achieve sales objectives.
  • Conduct sales calls on distributors and potential users of Burndy products.
  • Train distributor personnel to sell and promote Hubbell products.
  • Manage distributor inventory to maintain proper stock levels.
  • Maintain accurate account records using TMS/Electronic TMS.
  • Conduct sales training within the district and region as directed by management.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations to various groups and end-users.
  • Communicate issues, opportunities, and successes to the District Manager.
  • Service distributors and end-users to create demand for products.
  • Build strong relationships with distribution, end-users, and specifying influences.

Requirements

  • College degree required and five (+) years of related industry sales experience, or a High School diploma with seven (+) years of related industry sales experience.
  • Contractor sales experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
