The Territory Sales Manager for Tracheostomy at Atos Medical is a pivotal role responsible for achieving sales objectives within a designated territory in the Northeast region of the United States. This position requires a candidate who is not only knowledgeable about medical devices but also skilled in building relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare facilities. The Territory Sales Manager will engage with various stakeholders, including clinicians and financial decision-makers, to promote and sell Atos Medical's Tracheostomy products, specifically the Tracoe line. The role involves a deep understanding of the complexities of the healthcare market, particularly in relation to tracheostomy care, and the ability to navigate hospital ordering processes effectively. In this high-growth market, the Territory Sales Manager will develop and execute strategic plans to maximize sales opportunities. This includes analyzing sales and marketing data to identify leverageable opportunities and ensuring timely advancement of the sales process. The individual will be expected to demonstrate consultative selling skills, presenting a compelling value proposition that highlights both clinical and financial benefits of the products. Additionally, the role requires the ability to retain and grow business within existing accounts while also identifying new opportunities for expansion. The successful candidate will be a clear expert in clinical and technical product knowledge, capable of communicating effectively during sales interactions and in-service settings. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and managing information through a CRM tool, ensuring that all sales activities are logged and tracked appropriately. Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales objectives through effective selling activities.
  • Cultivate business partnerships with key decision makers in healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct product in-services and drive market share and sales growth.
  • Develop and execute a clear plan to achieve overall territory sales objectives.
  • Navigate and document hospital ordering processes and demand patterns.
  • Understand the complexities of selling to complex care facilities and clinicians.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize territory and company objectives.
  • Analyze key sales and marketing data to identify leverageable opportunities.
  • Understand customer environments, including key decision makers and their concerns.
  • Ensure timely advancement of the sales process with all targeted accounts.
  • Provide input to the National Manager on the sales process and key milestones.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis and understand financial business models.
  • Demonstrate consultative selling skills to uncover customer strategies.
  • Plan monthly/weekly/daily call routines for effective account coverage.
  • Utilize available tools to maximize sales growth, including contracts and marketing directives.
  • Retain and grow business within the current customer base by identifying opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential accounts.
  • Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key influencers within hospital systems.
  • Communicate clinical and technical product knowledge during sales interactions.
  • Organize and manage information using CRM tools, specifically Opportunity Pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3-5+ years of Medical Device Sales experience.
  • Valid US Driver's License and access to a late model automobile.
  • Acceptable credit rating for extensive travel.
  • Availability for regional travel up to 50%, including occasional national/international travel.
  • Ability to complete credentialing requirements for healthcare facilities.
