About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Atos Medical is responsible for achieving sales objectives in the medical device sector, specifically focusing on tracheostomy products. This role involves cultivating relationships with key decision-makers, executing sales strategies, and driving market share growth in a high-growth environment. The position requires a deep understanding of the medical device landscape, consultative selling skills, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

  • Engage targeted accounts and develop a clear plan to achieve territory sales objectives.
  • Navigate hospital ordering processes and understand demand patterns.
  • Understand the complexities of selling to complex care facilities and the impact on sales cycles.
  • Become a product expert and drive market share gain from competitors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize territory objectives based on sales and marketing data.
  • Understand customer environments and identify key decision makers and their concerns.
  • Advance the sales process with targeted accounts to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis and understand financial business models.
  • Demonstrate consultative selling skills and present value propositions to customers.
  • Plan and execute a call routine to cover key accounts effectively.
  • Utilize available tools to maximize sales growth, including contracts and marketing directives.
  • Identify opportunities to retain and grow business within the current customer base.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers and key opinion leaders.
  • Maintain productive cross-functional relationships within the organization.
  • Attend industry-related meetings for business development opportunities.
  • Organize and manage information using CRM tools, including sales reporting and expense management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3-5+ years of Medical Device Sales experience.
  • Valid US Driver's License and a suitable vehicle for travel.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50%, with occasional national or international travel.
  • Ability to complete credentialing requirements for healthcare facilities.
