About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Atos Medical is responsible for achieving sales objectives in the tracheostomy product line by cultivating relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare facilities. This role involves strategic planning, consultative selling, and maintaining long-term relationships to drive market share and sales growth in a high-growth market. The position requires a deep understanding of the medical device industry, particularly in tracheostomy care, and the ability to navigate complex sales processes within healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

  • Engage targeted accounts and develop a clear plan to achieve territory sales objectives.
  • Navigate hospital ordering processes and understand demand patterns.
  • Understand the complexities of selling to complex care facilities and the impact on sales cycles.
  • Become a product expert and drive market share gain from competitors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize territory objectives based on sales and marketing data.
  • Understand customer's environment and identify key decision makers and their concerns.
  • Advance the sales process with targeted accounts to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis and understand financial business models.
  • Demonstrate consultative selling skills and present value propositions to customers.
  • Plan and execute a call routine to ensure coverage of key accounts.
  • Utilize available tools to maximize sales growth and understand competitive activity.
  • Retain and grow business within the current customer base by identifying opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential accounts.
  • Identify Key Opinion Leaders and leverage relationships to drive company objectives.
  • Communicate clinical and technical product knowledge during sales interactions.
  • Attend industry-related meetings for business development opportunities.
  • Organize and manage information using CRM tools and maintain sales reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3-5+ years of Medical Device Sales experience.
  • Valid US Driver's License and a suitable vehicle for travel.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50%, with occasional national/international travel.
  • Complete credentialing requirements for healthcare facility access.
