About the position

The Territory Sales Manager plays a vital role in the Wholesale division, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Dealer customers. This position involves prospecting new business, analyzing sales data, and coaching customers to achieve optimal business results. The role requires effective communication between customers and the company to ensure standards and expectations are met, contributing to the overall success of Global Partners LP in delivering energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture strong customer contacts and positive business relationships.
  • Solicit new business for supply contracts with service station dealers and negotiate long-term agreements.
  • Monitor and coach dealers on pricing and competition awareness.
  • Validate internal reports for accurate pricing and competition data.
  • Counsel customers on retail pricing to maximize business results.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Analyze volume, competition, and dealer offers to maximize profitability.
  • Maximize profitability using company tools and programs.
  • Work with dispatch to resolve delivery issues and manage dealer documentation.
  • Conduct site surveys and ensure compliance with PCI and EMV standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent knowledge preferred.
  • 3 years of site-level or marketing business operations experience.
  • Ability to solicit new business relationships with Dealer customers.
  • Strong coaching skills for effective retail pricing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and strategic development ability.
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently.
