About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at AprilAire is responsible for managing customer relationships and delivering indoor air quality products to dealers within Michigan. This B2B role involves consulting with HVAC dealerships, providing tailored solutions, and developing sales strategies to grow the territory. The position offers the independence of managing one's own schedule while being supported by a stable and growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with AprilAire dealers to position their businesses for success with support from AprilAire's marketing team
  • Providing tailored product and system solutions to HVAC dealerships
  • Cold calling and collaborating with customers on their needs
  • Working collaboratively with AprilAire distribution managers to secure distributor orders with dealers
  • Developing and leading your own Annual Operating Plan to support your sales goals and plan for your month-to-month activities
  • Tracking, updating, and reporting metrics on sales progress, activity, and customer accounts in our CRM (Goldmine)
  • Supporting clients and developing lasting relationships
  • Using data and your analytical skills to identify and prioritize accounts offering the greatest opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in selling a tangible product
  • Ability to develop long lasting relationships with customers and provide great customer service
  • Motivation, flexibility and forward-thinking to thrive with minimal supervision
  • Ability to grow and manage your territory
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel within your territory up to 40%
