About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) for FyterTech Nonwovens is responsible for driving sales and profit growth within the Mid-Atlantic region, specifically in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia. This remote position requires the TSM to collaborate with key end-users, deliver site audits, and implement effective sales strategies to meet organizational objectives. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with distributors and end-users, managing budgets, and providing exceptional customer service while promoting FyterTech's value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed overall sales and profit goals within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate on-site with key end-users to deliver site audits and productivity gains.
  • Support sell-through activities and utilize FyterTech's value proposition with distribution partners.
  • Develop and implement an annual sales plan aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Report progress to the Director of Sales on competitive activity and sales performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential distributors and end users.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Leadership team.
  • Spend at least 50% of time with end users in the field to understand their processes and provide solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent sales experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience selling industrial products.
  • Ability to effectively engage and sell in a virtual environment using technology like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Excellent presentation skills in dynamic environments including end user manufacturing sites.
  • Track record of success selling value-added solutions in a competitive environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management skills to balance territory needs and initiatives.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Proactive negotiation skills with business partners.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Current or past experience with a safety products manufacturer preferred.
