The Territory Sales Manager-National Retail position is crucial for managing existing customer relationships while also focusing on growth within the region. The ideal candidate will possess a 'HUNTER' mentality, demonstrating a strong drive to expand relationships and revenue streams. This role involves engaging with national retailers, previous customers, and identifying new business opportunities. Relationship building is key to success in this position, as the Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction to facilitate long-term partnerships. The position offers a solid base salary complemented by a commission structure, rewarding the individual for their sales achievements. In this role, the Territory Sales Manager will identify new sales opportunities, focusing on program business, and maximize sales efforts by prioritizing the most profitable opportunities. The manager will improve profitability and product penetration with all customers, qualifying sales opportunities through market research and collaboration with inside sales representatives. Developing competitive pricing strategies and communicating the value proposition to customers are essential tasks, along with proposing and reevaluating sales solutions as necessary. Closing sales opportunities and executing order fulfillment procedures will also be part of the responsibilities, alongside providing outstanding customer service to ensure long-term relationships and repeat business.
