The Territory Sales Manager-National Retail will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships while also focusing on growth within the region. The ideal candidate will possess a "HUNTER" mentality, demonstrating a strong drive to expand relationships and revenue streams. This role requires comfort in engaging with national retailers, previous customers, and identifying new business opportunities while supporting established clients. Relationship building is paramount in this position, which offers a solid base salary complemented by a commission structure. The Territory Sales Manager will identify new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers, focusing on selling program business. The role involves maximizing sales efforts by concentrating on the most profitable opportunities, improving profitability, product penetration, and product mix with all customers. The manager will qualify sales opportunities through market and customer research, collaborating with inside sales representatives to develop sales solutions and competitive pricing strategies. Communicating the value proposition to customers and proposing sales solutions will be essential, as will closing sales opportunities by securing purchase orders and executing all order fulfillment procedures. Outstanding customer service and post-sales satisfaction are critical for fostering long-term relationships and repeat business with customers.
