The Territory Sales Manager-National Retail will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships while also focusing on growth within the region. This role requires a candidate with a 'HUNTER' mentality, someone who is driven to expand relationships and find new revenue streams. The Territory Sales Manager will be comfortable engaging with national retailers, previous customers, and identifying new business opportunities. Relationship building is crucial in this position, as the individual will need to support established clients while also seeking out new partnerships. The role offers a solid base salary complemented by a commission structure, incentivizing performance and growth. Key responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers, focusing on selling program business, and maximizing sales efforts by prioritizing the most profitable opportunities. The Territory Sales Manager will also be tasked with improving profitability, product penetration, and product mix with all customers. This involves qualifying sales opportunities through market and customer research, developing competitive pricing strategies, and effectively communicating the value proposition to customers. The role requires closing sales opportunities by gaining purchase orders and executing all order fulfillment procedures, while also providing outstanding customer service to facilitate long-term relationships for repeat business.
