About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and business development within the Nebraska and Iowa territories for Ormco products. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with orthodontists and their teams, developing business plans, and implementing strategies to achieve sales goals. The manager will focus on customer retention, expansion, and new account cultivation to ensure revenue growth while serving as the primary point of contact for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Ormco products and solutions to meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Win, expand, and retain Ormco business within each assigned account.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to build trust and relationships with customers.
  • Influence doctors and staff to purchase and utilize Ormco's digital product portfolio.
  • Create and implement sales and educational strategies to increase customer engagement.
  • Meet with orthodontists and staff regularly to promote products and gather feedback.
  • Conduct complete territory analysis and planning to achieve revenue goals.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to organize customer meetings and discover needs.
  • Provide timely responses to customer requests regarding products and services.
  • Establish and manage customer expectations regarding delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accurate sales records using CRM tools and report customer complaints as needed.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Ormco solutions and their value propositions.
  • Continuously improve personal knowledge and sales skills to add value to customers.
  • Maintain necessary reporting documents including forecasts and market reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company expense policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience with a successful track record in customer relationship and account management.
  • Ability to travel 30% overnight.
