About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving business development and sales growth within the assigned territory, which includes Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Upstate New York. This role requires a self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, as well as a positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork. The position involves significant travel (50-60%) to meet with clients and maintain relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high level professionalism and customer service maintaining great customer relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Attain deep understanding of our products and present new product knowledge to enhance sales.
  • Work independently while being a team player.
  • Give sales presentations effectively to groups.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through responsiveness and follow-up.
  • Maintain an organized travel schedule within the local territory.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous outside sales experience is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Experience with SalesForce or other CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of plumbing preferred.
  • Aptitude and interest in technology.
