About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and business development within the assigned territory of North Minnesota and North Dakota. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with orthodontists and their teams, developing business plans, and implementing strategies to achieve sales goals. The manager will focus on customer retention, expansion, and new account cultivation while representing Ormco's innovative orthodontic products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Ormco products and solutions to meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with orthodontists and their clinical teams.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Develop and implement territory-specific business plans and tactics.
  • Conduct regular meetings with orthodontists to promote products and gather feedback.
  • Analyze territory performance and manage aging receivables.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers and understand their needs.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
  • Maintain accurate sales records using CRM tools.
  • Report customer complaints and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience in customer relationship and account management.
  • Ability to travel 30% overnight.
