About the position

Dixon is seeking a dedicated and motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our Sanitary division, focusing on the Northeast region. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth and fostering strong customer relationships. As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting our extensive product offerings and delivering market-based solutions tailored to our customers' needs. Your commitment to excellent customer service will be essential in supporting clients before, during, and after the sale, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. In this position, you will maintain and enhance sales programs within your assigned territory. This involves keeping customers informed about our services, supplies, pricing, and new product launches. Regular visits to distributors, end users, engineering firms, and customers are a key part of the role, with travel expectations of approximately 75% from Monday to Thursday. You will be expected to plan your activities weekly and monthly based on customer needs, ensuring that you are effectively addressing their requirements and maximizing sales opportunities. Your primary duties will include creating and delivering engaging product presentations to both distributors and end users, as well as maintaining and growing customer relationships within your territory. Proper documentation of all activities in Salesforce is essential to track progress and manage customer interactions effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as the ability to listen to and interpret customer needs to provide effective sales solutions. Strong time management skills and self-motivation are crucial for success in this position, as is the ability to establish and build lasting relationships with customers.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous industrial sales experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Self-starter, highly motivated.
  • Strong computer skills.
