About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and business development within the assigned territory of Northern California, focusing on building relationships with orthodontists and their teams. This role involves creating business plans, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring the successful promotion and utilization of Ormco's orthodontic products and solutions. The Territory Sales Manager will balance business retention, expansion, and new account cultivation to achieve sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Ormco products and solutions to meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with orthodontists and their teams.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Develop and implement territory-specific business plans and tactics.
  • Conduct territory analysis and planning to achieve revenue goals.
  • Organize customer meetings and travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain accurate sales records using CRM tools.
  • Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Report customer complaints and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience in customer relationship and account management.
  • Ability to travel 30% overnight.
