About the position

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new revenue through distributors, contractors, consultants, and end users while achieving regional goals and objectives. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies to improve product line penetration and expand the customer base. The position is primarily remote with occasional office time, and it offers a competitive total rewards package as part of an employee-owned company.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new revenue via distributors, contractors, consultants, and end users.
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to improve product line penetration.
  • Expand customer base and product market share.
  • Maintain a sales program based on customers' estimated requirements.
  • Inform customers of supply and price trends and assist in inventory control.
  • Secure and renew orders, working with Customer Service and Inside Sales.
  • Call on existing or potential customers and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Participate in national and regional trade shows as needed.
  • Keep records and make reports on all phases of activities.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business or technical field.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of field sales experience in the Voice/Data industry.
  • Excellent track record in sales growth.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN physical architecture, customer base, and distribution.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, planning, written, and verbal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and E-mail.
