About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing sales within the assigned geographic region, specifically focusing on the Orange County area. This role requires the development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a deep understanding of the flooring industry, and the ability to drive growth and achieve sales targets. In this position, the Territory Sales Manager will develop and execute strategic sales plans aimed at achieving revenue targets and expanding market presence. This includes identifying and targeting potential customers such as contractors, builders, retailers, and distributors. The role also involves conducting presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of Home Legend products. Customer relationship management is a key aspect of this role, as the Territory Sales Manager will build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and clients. Providing exceptional customer service is essential, which includes addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Regular visits to clients will be necessary to gather feedback and understand their needs and preferences. Additionally, the Territory Sales Manager will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats. They will prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to senior management, analyzing sales data to track progress and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets. Collaboration with marketing and product development teams is also crucial to provide insights and feedback on customer preferences and market trends. Training and support for clients and partners on product features, installation procedures, and best practices will be part of the responsibilities, along with staying updated on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with clients and provide expert advice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and support to clients and partners on product features, installation procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of sales experience required.
  • Strong sales skills and a deep understanding of the flooring industry.
  • Ability to use a laptop computer/tablet and basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows software, specifically MS Office.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and time management skills.
  • Captivating communication skills and a passion for positive results.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to travel within the territory.
