About the position

The Outdoor Living Territory Manager is responsible for increasing sales revenues and maintaining customer relationships within a designated geographical area, specifically covering Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. This role requires a technical background in outdoor appliances and fire features, along with strong communication skills to understand and meet customer needs. The ideal candidate is goal-driven and takes pride in ensuring client satisfaction while seeking opportunities for sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies
• Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
• Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
• Discover sales opportunities through consumer research
• Present products and services to prospective customers
• Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
• Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes
• Assess sales performance according to KPIs
• Monitor competition within assigned region
• Perform Contractor / Homeowner Service Calls as needed
• Manage sales activity through company CRM system
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Regional Sales Manager

Requirements

• Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue in the Outdoor Living category
• Experience in Outdoor appliances (Grills, Firepits, etc.)
• Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and leadership ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Products: Excel & Word
• Problem-solving aptitude
