Our Auto Value stores in the Muskegon, Holland, Grand Rapids areas in Michigan are currently seeking a person for a Full-Time Regional Outside Sales position. This is an integral position in cultivating customer relations within a geographic region. The role involves making sales calls to various automotive repair businesses within a designated territory. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of prospecting new customers while maintaining relationships with existing ones. A reliable source of transportation is essential, as the role requires traveling to meet clients and increase sales through exceptional customer service. The primary goal of the successful applicant will be to maintain and grow the assigned stores' wholesale market share. This will be achieved by prospecting new customers and forming profitable business partnerships with the stores' account base. Key responsibilities include inventory management, providing training opportunities, and presenting Auto Wares (AWI) and Company Store Group (CSG) programs and promotions. The position also requires maintaining communication with the Store Manager, District Manager, Sales Manager, and crew members regarding all commercial accounts via the Sales Program. Additionally, the role involves pursuing new line additions and changeovers, prospecting for new store accounts, and growing the account base. The successful candidate will keep management informed of competition and share best practices with the rest of the company. Responsibilities also include managing online ordering presentations, implementing and maintaining stock lists, and ensuring customer satisfaction through outstanding communication and follow-up. The candidate must handle themselves professionally and set an example for others, while also being able to operate computer systems effectively. Training less experienced team members is also part of the role, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
