About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) at YUMI Ice Cream Company is responsible for providing exceptional Direct Store Delivery (DSD) service to customers within the Pasadena, TX area. The role focuses on driving revenue growth by maximizing sales strategies, building customer relationships, and adhering to operational standards. The TSM will engage in effective sales presentations, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines while contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth within assigned sales territory by maximizing Direct Store Delivery sales strategy.
• Identify and act on selling opportunities, respond to competitor activities, and maintain/increase space in stores.
• Create rapport with staff members in all accounts and communicate effectively during service calls.
• Follow procedures outlined in Yumi best practices and adhere to route schedules.
• Prepare paperwork and actively participate in 1:1 meetings, taking ownership for the meeting.
• Conduct activities in a safe manner and follow corporate safety guidelines.

Requirements

• 5 years of sales experience, preferably in outside sales or DSD.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid Class C driver's license with a minimum of 5 years driving experience.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use an iPad for writing orders.
