About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Paving & Asphalt will focus on new business development while managing some existing accounts. This role involves direct engagement with potential clients to secure opportunities for paving projects, utilizing a straightforward approach to initiate conversations and close deals. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, primarily covering a 50-mile radius around Fremont, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on new business development in the paving and asphalt sector.
  • Manage existing accounts while seeking new opportunities.
  • Engage directly with potential clients to secure paving contracts.
  • Serve as a liaison between the superintendent and the client for project execution.
  • Independently generate leads and build a pipeline of new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in commercial paving.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and build a sales pipeline.
  • Experience with project implementation in the construction sector.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with municipal projects, such as schools.
