About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses, managing a portfolio of clients, and identifying revenue opportunities within assigned territories. This role involves face-to-face meetings, customer presentations, account management, and maintaining client records in the CRM system. The position requires a proactive approach to sales and a deep understanding of the payments industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients for the company.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories through various activities.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Respond to customer requests for information and conduct online presentations.
  • Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients.
  • Maintain existing/prospective client records in the CRM system, including call notes and scheduled interactions.
  • Keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
  • Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in B2B sales or cold calling sales.
  • Demonstrated successful performance in previous sales roles.
