About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses within assigned territories. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, identifying revenue opportunities, conducting face-to-face meetings, and maintaining client relationships throughout the sales cycle. The position requires a strong understanding of the payments industry and effective communication skills to establish long-lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and identify revenue opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to qualify leads and drive them through the sales pipeline.
  • Respond to customer requests for information and conduct online presentations.
  • Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients.
  • Maintain client records in the CRM system, including call notes and scheduled interactions.
  • Keep management informed of all activity through timely report preparation.
  • Continuously build knowledge of current product/service offerings and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales.
