About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Payroll HCM at Heartland, a Global Payments Company, is responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, identifying revenue opportunities, and conducting face-to-face meetings to drive sales. The position requires a proactive approach to client relationship management and sales pipeline development, ensuring customer satisfaction and account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients for the company.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Respond to customer requests for information and give online presentations.
  • Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients.
  • Maintain existing/prospective client records in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in merchant services or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
  • Ability to conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations effectively.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and expectations during the sales cycle.

Nice-to-haves
