About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Payroll/HCM is responsible for selling payroll offerings to businesses, managing a portfolio of clients, and identifying revenue opportunities within assigned territories. This role involves face-to-face meetings, account management, and maintaining client relationships while ensuring effective communication and presentation of services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and identify revenue opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to qualify leads and drive them through the sales pipeline.
  • Respond to customer requests for information and conduct online presentations.
  • Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients.
  • Maintain client records in the CRM system, including call notes and scheduled interactions.
  • Keep management informed of all activity through timely report preparation.
  • Continuously build knowledge of current product/service portfolio and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales
  • B2B sales experience and cold calling sales experience preferred.
