About the position

The role involves selling merchant services offerings to businesses, focusing on account management, customer segmentation, and client relationship development. The position primarily entails field sales, with some activities conducted over the phone, and requires managing a portfolio of clients to identify revenue opportunities and drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients for the company.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories through various activities.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Ensure suspect identification, planning, account qualification, and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
  • Respond to customer requests for information and conduct online presentations.
  • Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations during the sales cycle.
  • Maintain existing/prospective client records in the CRM system, including call notes and scheduled interactions.
  • Keep management informed of all activity through timely report preparation.
  • Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales or related field.
  • Expert knowledge of the merchant payment industry.
