The Territory Sales Manager will be a critical part of Wholesale, reporting to the VP of Wholesale. This role is essential in building and maintaining business relationships with Dealer customers. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for prospecting and signing new business, analyzing sales volume, adhering to retail standards, and coaching customers to achieve maximum business results. This position also involves maintaining effective communication between customers and the company to ensure that company standards and expectations are met. The Territory Sales Manager will develop and nurture strong customer contacts and positive, proactive, and profitable business relationships. Responsibilities include soliciting new business for supply contracts with brand or unbranded service station dealers, negotiating long-term supply agreements, and monitoring dealer pricing and competition. The role also involves counseling customers on retail pricing to maximize business results and ensuring that all internal reports have accurate pricing and competitive information. Additionally, the Territory Sales Manager will handle general customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring that all customer needs are met in a timely manner to maintain positive business relations. Ongoing analysis of volume, competition, dealer offers, and Mystery Shopper scores will be required to maximize profitability for both the customer and the company. The Territory Sales Manager will also work with the dispatch team to handle delivery issues and counsel customers on the benefits of automatic delivery and ordering. This position requires cold calling and continuous market development, conducting site surveys, and ensuring compliance with PCI and EMV standards at sites. The role also includes managing dealer changes, assignments, and franchise agreements, ensuring all required documentation is submitted on time.
