About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets across a defined territory, which includes Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New Jersey, New York City, and Washington, D.C. This role involves managing both new business development and account management for labeling systems and products, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. Success in this position requires excellent sales, communication, and organizational skills, as well as staying current on industry trends and product advancements.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while expanding existing label and equipment accounts.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations to both new and existing customers as needed.
  • Generate and qualify leads to drive future sales growth.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain organized records of sales activities and provide regular reports.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in selling customized labels & label systems (equipment sales)
  • Experience in the print or packaging industry is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience selling in a multi-state sales role is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management software.
