About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Haworth, Inc. is responsible for developing revenue and increasing market share in the Pittsburgh area. This role involves identifying and securing sales from target accounts, executing business plans, and fostering relationships with clients and dealers to meet financial sales targets. The position requires proactive engagement with the market and effective management of sales strategies to achieve quota and product mix goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop revenue and increase market share through identifying and securing sales from target accounts and new opportunities.
  • Create and execute a business plan to meet quota and product mix goals.
  • Proactively develop client, A+D, and real estate relationships to win business.
  • Conduct business development strategy sessions with dealers and review key stakeholder relationships.
  • Network in the assigned market and attend events to uncover new business development opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with dealers to influence Haworth's share of wallet.
  • Manage business plans in CRM, keeping information current on sales activities and results.
  • Travel daily in assigned territory up to 70% of the time to meet clients and dealers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, sales, architecture, interior design, marketing, communications, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in consultative B2B, solution-based sales with a proven track record of generating revenue and meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to work in Pittsburgh, PA without relocation assistance.
  • Current right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with dealerships and understanding their sales and operating procedures preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in consultative B2B, solution-based sales preferred.
