About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager with a strong background in material handling and forklift business. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our sales territory, focusing on closing major accounts and building lasting client relationships. You will assist clients in designing and ordering the right products tailored to their specific needs, leveraging your knowledge of our products, including engineered technical specifications and space optimization engineering. This position offers a competitive base salary along with unlimited commission potential based on your sales performance, a car allowance, and comprehensive insurance coverage through a stipend. Please note that candidates must reside in Alabama to be considered for this role. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be tasked with building and developing sales channels, attracting interest in our products and services, and closing significant sales accounts. You will set ambitious goals to ensure that sales quotas are met by your team and manage the sales process from cradle to grave. Additionally, you will participate in product engineering, providing valuable client input for new product development, and perform other tasks as assigned to support the sales function.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering is a plus
  • Material handling business experience required
  • Minimum of 5 to 10+ years in warehouse sales or forklift sales
  • Superior written and spoken communication abilities
  • Turnkey sales experience
  • Business Development experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD (3 years preferred)
  • Willingness to travel (75% preferred)
