OSG USA, INC. is a leading manufacturer of taps, endmills, drills, and indexable cutting tools, serving various industries including automotive, die mold, aerospace, energy, heavy industry, and dental. We are currently seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager for the greater Richmond, VA area to join our growing team. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing sales by leveraging their knowledge of OSG products and fostering relationships with customers. This role involves engaging both distributors and end users, which is supported through travel and customer entertainment. The Territory Sales Manager will secure orders from existing and potential customers through on-site visits, phone calls, and emails. Daily sales calls will be conducted to both distributors and end users, and the manager will be responsible for securing opportunities to quote on customer requirements. Timely follow-up on submitted quotations is essential, as is establishing professional relationships with key stakeholders involved in the ordering process. The role also includes proper management of distribution, with monthly strategy sessions to evaluate each distributor and annual reviews of discounts and stock order/promotion plans. Additionally, the Territory Sales Manager will submit weekly activity and call reports concerning customer-related activities, enter and maintain all activity in the CRM daily, and provide lost business reports weekly. Training for both distributors and end users on OSG products is also a key function of this position, along with presenting technical solutions by testing, documenting, and closing sales opportunities.
