About the position

Innovative Chemical Products Group (ICP Group) is a leading formulator and manufacturer of specialty coatings, adhesives, and sealants serving the construction and industrial end markets. Founded in 2015, ICP Group has rapidly scaled through organic and acquisition growth into one of the largest coatings, adhesives, and sealants companies in North America. The company is headquartered in Andover, MA, with manufacturing and distribution sites throughout North America, Latin America, the UK, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. The Territory Sales Manager will serve as a key representative for ICP Group in the Texas market, particularly focusing on the Dallas/Ft Worth area. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong sales background and a proven track record in the roofing and waterproofing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's brands, including APOC, Pli Dek, and Polyset, to installation contractors, distributors, and other key influencers such as general contractors and building owners. In this position, the Territory Sales Manager will manage accounts, provide A/R support, arrange technical assistance for installations, and calculate product usage estimates. Regular travel within the territory is required, along with maintaining a consistent call visit cycle and reporting through the Sales Force CRM system. The role also involves training customers through live product demonstrations and educational presentations, as well as participating in local roofing and waterproofing trade shows to enhance market presence and generate leads.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for direct buying customers and key influencers in the Northern AZ area, with a major concentration in the Phoenix market.
  • Create and work from a written business development plan for the industry and markets you service.
  • Travel the extent of territory on a regular basis and as required.
  • Train customers by performing live product demonstrations, remote learning, and education presentations.
  • Review sales and lead generation reports to identify market sales opportunities.
  • Utilize industry specifications, building notifications, and plans to create a bid projects pipeline.
  • Interact with multi-level business leaders and cross-functional support groups to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Perform customer follow-up and 360 sales reviews regularly with customers.
  • Participate in local Roofing and Waterproofing tradeshow events.

Requirements

  • Proven sales track record in roofing and waterproofing systems.
  • Exceptional verbal, presentation, and training skills.
  • Ability to work independently with new and existing clients to overcome typical sales objections.
  • Cold-calling success within a territory to both large nationwide clients as well as small businesses in construction and installation markets.
  • 5 years of sales experience in roofing and waterproofing systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Construction experience as an installer, especially the installation of roofing and or waterproofing products is a major plus.
  • Read/Write experience in all aspects of a project specification process, including the sale and promotion of Roofing and Waterproofing solutions is a major plus.
