About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales objectives and growing sales volume for Hoya Vision Care products and services within targeted accounts in an assigned territory. This role focuses on enhancing customer loyalty and business growth through effective marketing strategies, service excellence, and technical superiority. The position requires the ability to create and execute strategic plans tailored to the territory, with a strong emphasis on building relationships with eye care professionals (ECPs).

Responsibilities

  • Executing on territory specific strategy to achieve sales performance targets and establish customer relations.
  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with ECPs to grow their branded products sales and overall business.
  • Utilizing corporate tools to document, plan, monitor, and meet sales objectives within the territory.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with lab partners to ensure successful customer relations and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Communicating with the Regional Sales Manager regarding personal growth, strategy, sales results, and plans of action.
  • Monitoring changes in the market and customer base to determine account volume, potential, and needs.
  • Partnering with lab personnel to identify account opportunities and adjust call schedules accordingly.
  • Training Customer Service Personnel and lab representatives on Hoya Vision Care's premium branded products and promotions.
  • Monitoring key competitor activities within the territory and implementing competitive sales strategies.
  • Managing the territory sales budget with emphasis on sales volume and account seminars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of demonstrated sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, particularly in Cognos and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong customer service or client relations experience.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
