About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is a pivotal role at Harbor Wholesale, responsible for driving new customer acquisition within the designated region of San Francisco, South San Francisco, San Mateo, Hayward, Oakland, and Richmond. This position is not just about sales; it is about building and nurturing relationships with key retailers and chain customers to foster long-term partnerships. The TSM will work closely with a dedicated team that provides full support and training, ensuring that they have the resources needed to succeed in their role. The ideal candidate will be centrally located within the territory to effectively manage and service the assigned accounts. In this role, the TSM will be tasked with growing and developing new business sales by securing new customer purchases. This involves identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that meet those needs. The TSM will also be responsible for exceeding monthly sales objectives and performance goals, which are critical to the success of the position. Relationship building is a key contributor to the TSM's success, and the ability to develop and elevate these relationships is essential. The TSM will be expected to travel primarily within the assigned region, with approximately 20% of travel being overnight. This travel will require the use of mobile technology to conduct business effectively while on the road. The position demands a professional demeanor, effective communication skills, and the ability to negotiate successfully. Candidates must have a minimum of four years of sales experience, particularly within the convenience store industry, and must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
