About the position

The Territory Sales Manager - Sleep is a pivotal role at Cadwell Industries, responsible for the promotion, sale, and support of the company's Sleep Diagnostic products, including PSG and HSAT. This position is crucial for driving sales growth and enhancing customer satisfaction within a defined territory that encompasses several states, including ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, IN, OH, and MI. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies that not only meet but exceed established sales goals for the assigned product lines. In this role, the Territory Sales Manager will conduct in-person demonstrations of sleep diagnostic products to potential clients, showcasing the features and benefits of the products. The position requires a proactive approach to account management, where the manager will orchestrate team selling activities involving hospital accounts, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating territory business plans that align with the overall management goals and will utilize administrative tools for opportunity management, including CRM systems. Participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and conventions related to Sleep Diagnostics is a key responsibility, allowing the manager to network and promote Cadwell's products effectively. Regular reporting on sales performance, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, is expected to keep management informed of progress and challenges. The Territory Sales Manager will act as a liaison between customers and Cadwell, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively, thereby maintaining high levels of customer support and satisfaction. Additionally, the role requires a deep technical understanding of the assigned product lines to provide informed recommendations and feedback to the technical development and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed established sales goals for assigned Sleep Diagnostic product lines
  • Conduct in-person demonstrations of sleep diagnostic products to potential clients
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to reach out to potential customers
  • Orchestrate team selling activities for hospital/IDN/KOL accounts
  • Develop territory business plans in alignment with management goals
  • Create territory sales forecasts and utilize CRM for opportunity management
  • Participate in Sleep Diagnostic related trade shows and exhibitions
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
  • Act as a liaison between customers and Cadwell, resolving issues and maintaining support
  • Provide customer recommendations to assist in product development

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a clinical sleep setting or equivalent sales experience in Sleep diagnostics
  • 4+ years of professional sales experience, ideally in medical devices or scientific research
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills
  • Ability to assess customer needs and provide consultative solutions
  • Skilled in problem analysis and resolution with sound decision-making capabilities
  • Computer literacy is essential, with a working knowledge of Windows OS preferred
